The Development Services and Engineering Departments are responsible for providing assistance, solutions and exceptional customer service for residents, developers and businesses who have zoning, building, and permitting questions. When you see a new commercial or residential building that is under construction in Buckeye, you know that the Development Services team reviewed, inspected, and approved every aspect of it to ensure it meets our modern building code and safety standards.

The Permit Center is located on the second floor at City Hall, and we are available by phone or email during business hours.

Important Notice: Processing Delay Due to Software Upgrade

In the coming weeks, we will be transitioning to new software. Tyler’s EnerGov and Munis technology will deliver the system modernization the city needs to help streamline workflows, integrate essential business operations, and expand citizen self-service capabilities.

During this transition, staff will be temporarily entering applications in multiple programs.  As a result, you may notice a longer than normal wait time.
