The City of Buckeye Community Services Department offers family friendly events year round. With carnivals, concerts, festivals, hikes, runs and more, there’s a lot going on, and so much to do and see. Just check out the list of activities below and start making plans to have a great time!

Community Yard Sale @ Buckeye Town Park

Out with the old and in with the new at the Spring Community Garage Sale. Rather you are wanting to get rid of stuff or find new treasures this event is for you! A one stop shop for garage sale enthusiasts, novices and families looking for something fun to do.

If you are interested in being a vendor and selling your household items, 10×20 spaces are available for $20 . Pick up an application at City Hall or email mcurtis@buckeyeaz.gov. We will help promote and market the event, encouraging shoppers to attend.

Winter Skate Jam @ Buckeye Skate Park

Rather you are riding or watching there is fun to be had by all at the Winter Skate Jam. Come see the riders show off their tricks, learn about best Skateboard maintenance and sign up to participate in one of 3 contests.

Quarter Auction @ Dr. Saide Recreation Center

Join us and exciting home-based businesses for the auctioning off of prize packages! The Quarter Auction Craze is a cross between bingo and an auction. Each prize package will be up for bid for one or two quarters per auction paddle. If you’ve paid your quarter to participate in that auction and your auction paddle number is called – you win!

Plan to bring your quarters and friends and enjoy a great evening of fun! Refreshments will be served. Admission is $3 and includes an auction paddle. Additional paddles are $1 each.

From an exciting interactive tour, featured authors signing books, the launch of the Innovation Center, and a great book sale hosted by the Friends of the Buckeye Public Library, there is something for everyone. Plus you will learn who the public voted on to be the new branch name. See you there.

Dog Days of Buckeye @ Sundance Park - Rainbow Rd. & Lower Buckeye

So what is a Melodrama you ask…a dramatic form that does not observe the laws of cause and effect and that exaggerates emotion and emphasizes plot or action at the expense of characterization. In other words, a must see night of laughter.

Tickets are on sale now at the Dr. Saide Recreation Center, City of Buckeye Library, or the Community Center. Adult $6 | Child (6-12) $4.
