Vice Mayor May, who was four years old when her family moved to Buckeye from California, is a graduate of Buckeye Union High School and attended Durham Business College, Rio Salado Community College and Estrella Mountain Community College. A bookkeeper by trade, Vice Mayor May has held accounting positions with a dozen businesses in the southwest Valley over the years, and currently does accounting work for D.M.
