The Town of Buckeye offers an open social, recreational environment while serving program(s) for adults 60 and older, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Seniors have the opportunity to participate in recreation programs activities and services intended just for them. The senior program is located at the Town of Buckeye Community Center – 201 E. Free craft classes every Monday @ 9:30 am; supplies provided.

Games are going everyday during the senior program.  Come join in on the fun or teach a new friend a new game.

Bingo – Bring a friend or make some new ones, bingo is played every Wednesday & Friday

Blood pressure checks – First & Third Thursday of month

Health Presentation & Discussions – Once a month
Exercise Equipment available for use (Two Treadmills, Stationary Bike & Multi-Use Gym)
Silver Sneakers is the nation's leading fitness program offering customized classes designed to improve range of movement
and muscular strength exclusively for older adults.  Members of participating health plans can join for free; however if your
health plan is not one accepted by Silver Sneakers, you can only participate in the exercise classes.  For more info on joining, please

Monthly Outings

Computer Lab
The Community Center computer lab is now open for adults 18 years and older- computers from 1:00pm – 5:00 pm. Participants must sign–in on a daily basis and follow Town policies and procedures when using computers.

Library & Reading Programs
The Town of Buckeye Community Center has its own Library.  Large print books are available for senior participants to check out.  A variety of books and magazines are on site for your reading pleasure.  Also in partnership with the Library the senior program offers “The Joy of Reading Program”.  Seniors can sign up and win prizes and receive free gifts while you have fun reading.   Visit the Community Center for more details.
