Persons intending to operate a sexually oriented business must apply for a sexually oriented business license.  Any person employed by a sexually oriented business must obtain a sexually oriented business employee license.  These applicants must submit fingerprints for a background check to be conducted by Department of Public Safety and pay the applicable fees to do so.  NO license will be issued until the results of the background check have been concluded.  This process can take between 10-14 business days depending on Department of Public Safety staff and workload.  Applicants will be notified when background results are completed and the license is ready to be issued.  NO exceptions will be made. 

An application fee of $1000.00, an investigation fee of $1000.00 and an annual license fee of $1000.00 will apply to this license.  There is a $200.00 fee for each employee application.
