Buckeye Aquatic Center!

The Aquatic Center opens on Saturday, May 29th with open swim from 1:00 to 6:00pm and will reopen on Memorial Day, May 31st from 12:00 to 5:00pm and from 6:45-9:00pm.  The Aquatic Center is located at 207 N. Ninth Street in downtown Buckeye.

The aquatic center features a twisty slide, two fountain play areas, a zero-depth pool and diving board.  Concessions are also available.  Many improvements have been made to the pool in anticipation of the new season, including new drain covers, repairs to the pool decking, and washing the pool plaster, which was done by Western Aquatics Construction, located in Glendale.  The restrooms have also been renovated. 

The pool is open from 12:00 to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, Saturdays from 1:00 to 6:00pm and Monday nights from 6:45 to 9:00pm.  Family nights are on Monday & Wednesday evenings from 6:45 to 9:00pm.  General admission for open swim and family night is $2.00.

The Aquatic Center hosts a variety of programs and classes outside of open swim hours, including water aerobics and swim lessons, which are geared towards different age groups.  The pool can be rented on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights for those wishing to throw a birthday party or a family reunion.
