Mission
The Mission Statement of the Clerk’s Office is to provide a high level of service to both the citizens and associated members of the Town in the most effective and efficient manner, while ensuring fiscal responsibility.
Responsibilities
The Clerk is responsible for maintaining the Town’s records. Responsibilities include: Taking minutes of Council meetings, recording all local laws, Ordinances, and Codes, preparing agendas for Council Workshops and Meetings, and conducting Town Elections.

Boards and Commissions
The Town of Buckeye utilizes various Boards and Commissions to advise Council on numerous matters. Members of Boards and Commissions serve the vitally important role of researching, considering, and discussing important issues facing the Town. There are currently 8 Boards and Commissions. If you are interested in serving on a Board or Commission, information can be found on the website or by calling the Clerk’s office at 623-349-6911.

Agendas and Public Notices
Complying with Open Meeting Law requires all quorums be posted at least twenty-four hours before the meeting. Agendas, minutes, and public notices are posted at the Town Library, Police Department, and Community Center. The most current council packet, agendas and minutes are posted on our website under Government.
Public Records
One of the Clerk’s duties is being responsible for providing public records. If you would like to request a copy of a public record please visit the Town Clerks website. Charges may apply.

Commercial requests are requests that are used for solicitation or for any purpose in which the purchaser can reasonably anticipate the receipt of monetary gain from the direct or indirect use of such public record.
To requestors of public records,
If your records request is a commercial-use, but marked "non-commercial" , your request will be returned and you will be notified of the commercial status and the fee structure. The charges are provided on the request form. After you are notified and you agree to the charges the request will be processed and you will be notified of the charges due and date available.
