Did you know rebates are available to Town of Buckeye water customers for qualifying water -saving devices purchased and installed on or after January 1, 2010?  The rebates will be in the form of water bill credits and will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis for a $10,000 total budget in 2010.  Inspections are required before and after installation. 
The Water Conservation Rebate Table and the Water Conservation Rebate Form are provided for your use.


                TOILETS:             $75.00 Credit     Replacing Pre-1994 toilets which use 2.5 gallons per flush or more with 1.3 -                                                                     gallon per flush toilets
                                            $50.00 Credit     Replacing 1994 or Post-1994 toilets  that use 1.6 gallons per flush with 1.3 -                                                                     gallon per flush toilets.  Limit of two per home or business.


SMART IRRIGATION CONTROLLERS:    $100.00 Credit    Limit of one per home or business.


FRONT- LOAD HIGH - EFFICIENCY WASHING MACHINES:    $100.00 Credit    Replacement of an older top-load washing 
                                            machine with a water-efficient front-load washing machine.  Only residential customers are 
                                            eligible.


HOT WATER RECIRCULATORS:    $75.00 Credit    Installation of a hot water recirculator.  An additional $50.00 credit is 
                                            available to insulate hot water heater lines in the attic in conjunction with the hot water recirculator
                                            installation.  Limit of one per home or business.  $33.00 Town of Buckeye building permit fee 
                                            will also be waived.


REPLACEMENT OF TURF OR HIGH WATER USE LANDSCAPING WITH LOW WATER LANDSCAPING OR ARTIFICIAL TURF:    $50.00 TO $100.00 Credit                                                

• $50.00 credit- Conversion of 500-999 square feet
• $75.00 credit- Conversion of 1,000-1,499 square feet
• $100.00 credit- Conversion of 1,500 square feet or more

                                            ( The credit is not available for properties eligible to receive flood irrigation)


AUTOMATIC WATER SHUT-OFF DEVICE:    $75.00 Credit    The device will shut-off main water supply to a home or 
                                            business in the event of a major water line rupture.  Limit one per home or business.
