Buckeye offers a variety of parks with diverse amenities for our residents. From playgrounds to dog parks, and desert trails to camping, you’re sure to find a nearby park to get out, play and have fun!

Buckeye’s Fun Spaces

Dr. Saide Recreation Center

  • Drop Zone Teen Center with gymnasium, lounge area, pool table, fooseball and gaming systems. 
  • Teen Center hours from 3 to 7 p.m. August through May, 1:45 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and 2 to 7 p.m. May through August.

Community Center

  • Buckeye Community Center is a place where seniors can feel at home and participate in a wide variety of fitness classes, outings, parties and social programs.
  • Nutritious lunches are provided daily.  Home delivered meals are also available.
  • The Community Center hours are Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • The Community Center is available for rent. 

Skyline Regional Park

  • 8,700 acre mountain preserve located two miles north of I-10 on Watson Road.
  • 17 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding with more being added.
  • Trails open from sunrise to sunset.
  • Reserve a picnic ramada.
  • Reserve a camp site.

Sundance Park

  • Large shaded playground, dog park for large and small dogs, two lighted youth baseball fields, two lighted softball fields, a lighted football/soccer field, four lighted sand volleyball courts and a .65-mile walking path.
  • Picnic ramadas with tables and charcoal grills available for rent.

Earl Edgar Recreational Facility

  • Lighted youth baseball and softball fields, lighted multi-use football / soccer fields, basketball court, a shaded playground and a half-mile walking path.

Town Park

  • Large shaded playground, skate park and open turf. Ramadas also available for rent. 
  • Adjacent to Buckeye Aquatic Center and Dr. Saide Recreation Center.

Have a Picnic. Reserve a Ramada!

Rent a ramada at Sundance Park, Town Park, Kell Park or Serena Park either online or in person at the Recreation Center at 1003 E. Eason Ave., Buckeye, AZ 85326, or submit via email to recreation@buckeyeaz.gov.

In 2016, Buckeye City Council adopted the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, which provides Buckeye’s vision for the growth of parks, paths and trails, open space and recreation facilities over the next ten years.
