Beer can be consumed at campsites by obtaining a beer permit for $25.  Beer permits must be obtained in person at the Dr. Saide Recreation Center, 1003 E. Irwin Avenue during business hours by showing photo identification.

Reservations Policy

  • Campsites can only be registered to those 18 years of age or older.
  • Reservations can be made from one to up to seven nights.
  • Campers can only reserve a campsite within a campground for seven (7) nights within any 28-day period; however exceptions may be made by staff during off-peak seasons. 

Campsite Arrival & Departures

  • Campers may arrive at their site no earlier than 1pm and must vacate the site by 11am on their date of departure. 
  • All equipment, personal belongings and trash must be removed from your campsite before departing.
  • An access code will be provided to campers who reserved in advance at time of reservation for gate entry into and out of the park after the park closes at 10pm.

Campsite Occupancy & Vehicles

  • Each camp site accommodates one RV/trailer with one vehicle – or – two vehicles. Additional vehicles are not allowed overnight.
  • Campsites were not designed to accommodate overnight stays by equestrians and their horses, therefore no horses are permitted in the camping area.

Housekeeping

  • Quiet hours are from 10pm to sunrise. Audio equipment must not disturb other campers.
  • Campfires may be banned during dry and warm weather conditions. Signage will be posted at the camping area to inform renters whether campfires are permitted. If fires are permitted, they are only allowed in the fire pit and may not be left unattended. Fires must be fully extinguished before left unattended.
  • Sites must be kept clean and orderly at all times. Any trash is to be disposed in the dumpster west of restroom near the equestrian lot. Do not leave trash bags or garbage stockpiled at the camp site or at nearby trash cans.
  • At no time should black or gray water be disposed of in the park or restrooms, which will result in the immediate removal from the park and the forfeiture of all fees.

Refunds/Cancellations

  • Refunds will not be given for bugs, weather, campfire bans, wildlife, early departures or general dissatisfaction of the facilities. Refunds will only be approved for malfunctioning facilities/camping sites, medical emergencies, or other extreme conditions for the unused portion of the reservation.
  • Rental fees are refundable if cancellation occurs at least 10 working days prior to the rental date by contacting Recreation staff at 623-349-6350. A $2.00 cancellation fee will be assessed. Renters will forfeit their prepaid rental fees if the cancellation is made less than 10 working days in advance of the rental. No refunds will be issued for same day rentals.
