Stargazing For Everyone @ Skyline Regional Park

Saturday, September 29, 2018  |  7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Take a guided tour of the night sky with professional stargazers. Learn how to use a sky map, the names and meanings of the stars, see the constellations and listen to stories of the night sky. Then go  stargazing and view the moon, planets, star clusters, nebula, galaxies and more through large telescopes. Bring water, chairs or blanket for your seating comfort and flashlight with a red lens option. Please carpool, parking is limited.

Quarter Auction @ Dr. Saide Recreation Center (1003 E. Eason Ave.)

Friday, October 5, 2018  |  6 - 9 p.m.

$3 Entry (Includes one Paddle)

The Quarter Auction Craze is a cross between bingo and an auction.  Each prize package will be up for bid for one or two quarters per auction paddle.  If you’ve paid your quarter to participate in that auction and your auction paddle number is called – you win!  Plan to bring your quarters and friends and enjoy a great evening of fun!  Refreshments will be served.

Helzarockin' Gem & Mineral Show @ the Buckeye Arena (802 N. 1st St.)

October 12 - 14, 2018  |  9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Sat. & Sun.) 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. (Sun.)

Adults $3 Entry Fee - Kids 13 & Under Free

The gem & mineral show features rocks, gems, jewelry, minerals, fossils, beads, slabs, cabs and gold panning. Free Rock Scavenger Hunt.  Food and beverage available. Sponsored by West Valley Rock & Mineral Club.

Join the Buckeye Main Street Coalition and Chamber of Commerce at this annual event.  Features 100+ craft vendors, BBQ prepared on site, beer and Buckeye-style sangria and music!

Car Show @ 6th Street Plaza (530 E. Monroe) 

Saturday, October 13, 2018  |  9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Join the Buckeye Main Street Coalition at this annual car show which will include 1920-present cars, trucks, off-road, motorcycles and bicycles with prizes. Located at the Buckeye City Hall parking lot, 530 E. Monroe, Buckeye, AZ  85326.

Members of the Arizona Early Days Gas Engine & Tractor Association will be displaying their collection of restored engines, tractors and related equipment from the turn-of-the-century.  Sponsored by the Buckeye Main Street Coalition.

76th Annual Halloween Carnival @ Earl Edgar Park

The Halloween Carnival is traditional carnival that dates back nearly 80 years in the Buckeye Community.  Local Non-Profits are invited to host traditional carnival style games and activities to raise money for their organization.  It's old-fashioned family-fun with something for everyone!            Halloween Carnival Application

Pre-Veterans Day Hike @ Skyline Regional Park

Friday, November 9, 2018  | 10 a.m. - Noon

Take a 3-mile round trip hike on Skyline Park’s Mountain Wash Trail and help post an American Flag atop Valley Vista summit to honor all who have served our country over the years starting at 10 a.m. on Nov. 9. Valley Vista summit is the highest point in the park. All U.S. military veterans are welcome to help carry the flag during the ceremonial trek. It’s the perfect way to thank our veterans for serving our country while also enjoying breathtaking views and the great outdoors. 

If you’d like to participate, remember to wear good hiking shoes and bring lots of water and sun protection. The Mountain Wash hiking trail is rated as a difficult trail because of the significant increase in elevation over the 3-miles.  The hike is free and open to anyone who’d like to participate. 

Veterans Day Parade @Downtown Buckeye (10th St. to 1st St. on MC 85)

Saturday, November 10, 2018  | 10 a.m. - Noon

The Veterans Day Parade is held to honor American Veterans from all eras and allow citizens to show their respect and appreciation to Veterans.  Community members are encouraged to enter floats to the parade.  

Fall Demolition Derby @ the Buckeye Arena (802 N. 1st St.)

Saturday, November 17  |7 - 9:30 p.m.

Tickets: Adults $10, Children 6-12 $5, Children 5 and under are free, Family Pack of 2 Adults & 2 Children $25

The Demolition Derby is the 'Most fun you can have on a Saturday Night'. Food and drink vendors are on sight and a kids zone is provided for a fee. Lawn mower racing rounds out the evening of demolition derby fun. 

Holiday Boutique @ Sundance Crossings (21699 Yuma Rd.)

Saturday, December 1  |9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

When it comes to fun, the Annual Holiday Boutique is hard to beat. For those seeking unique and memorable gifts for their loved ones along with beautiful décor to add to their homes, it’s the perfect event! The boutique not only features incredible craftsmanship by local talented artisans and crafters, but also an array of activities such as DIY make and take crafts, pictures with Santa, book sale, live entertainment and much, much more.  This event is free and friendly for all ages.

Complete a vendor application if you are a talented crafter or artisan and make unique items. Vendor application deadline is October 31st. Booth fees are $50 for a 10’ x 10’ space.                                            Holiday Boutique Application
