Laughs, mystery and fun at 52nd Annual Melodrama
The tradition continues at the 52nd Annual Buckeye Melodrama March 29 & 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Youngker High School, 3000 S. Apache Road. “Sundown Alley” is the name of this year’s play, and is written and produced by Tim Kelly.
The Melodrama features cast members of Buckeye residents who volunteer their time and talents for the show.
This year’s premise is if “Norma Desperate” is able to make her long awaited comeback to the stage with her version of “Cinderella”, or will “Sly Vester” take over the production and turn it into something completely different?
Or, will other dastardly bandits have crooked plans of their own for the production?
Find out the answers and join in the fun as the audacious sign girl encourages audience participation at this family-friendly theatrical extravaganza.
Presale tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children. Tickets are available online or at the Buckeye Recreation Center, Community Center or either city library. Tickets will also available at the door for an additional $1.
