Police searching for suspects on rampage with stolen credit cards
A string of thefts from a number of valley home improvement stores are being linked to credit cards stolen from Buckeye residents.
Several Buckeye residents have recently had their credit cards stolen from their vehicles. In at least one case, the credit cards were taken in a home burglary.
The stolen credit cards were used illegally to purchase items at the Lowe’s in Buckeye on Watson Road just south of I-10. Surveillance video was obtained of that suspect and released to the public.
Detectives have since learned that same suspect, along with accomplices, have used the credit cards stolen at Lowe’s stores across the valley including, Tempe, Gilbert and Chandler.
Additional surveillance photos have been obtain and are being released. The hope is that the public can help identify these individuals racking up thousands of dollars in illegally purchased items and exploiting the identification and credit of innocent victims.
