Celebrate Oktoberfest in Buckeye

Celebrate Oktoberfest in downtown Buckeye at the 8th Annual Buckeye Oktoberfest Oct. 10 -13, 2019. This free, four-day event highlights an abundant amount of events, activities and contests for the entire family.  Oktoberfest Text

Enter your favorite beer stein in the Look at my Stein contest, win a German Chocolate Cake at the Cake Walk, enjoy make-and-take crafts for the kids and enjoy live, local entertainment throughout the weekend. 

Plan to spend at least a full day to experience the carnival, two separate car shows, a gem and mineral show, and sangria and shopping. 

Here’s the schedule of festivities: 

  • Oct. 10 – 13 – A Great Northern A’Fair Carnival, Bayless Park, 1010 E. Monroe Ave.

    Thrill rides, fun slide, carousel, kiddie rides and games for children of all ages.
    Thurs. and Fri. – 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sat. – 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Sun. – 1 to 10 p.m.

  • Oct. 11 – 13 - Helzarockin’ Gem & Mineral Show, Buckeye Arena, 802 N. 1st Street
    Check out rocks, gems, jewelry, minerals, fossils, beads, slabs, cabs, gold panning and a free scavenger hunt.
    Fri. and Sat. – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sun. – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    Tickets - $3 for Adults, children under 13 are FREE

  • Oct. 12 – Buckeye Car Show and Antique Engine Show, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    Buckeye Car Show – City Hall Parking Lot, 530 E. Monroe. Cars from 1920 to today on display. Registration begins at 7 a.m.
    Antique Engine Show – Buckeye Arena, 802 N. 1st Street. – Enjoy a collection of restored engines, tractors and other equipment from the Arizona Early Days gas Engine and Tractor Association.

  • Oct. 12 – Sangria and Shopping, 517 E. Monroe, across from City Hall
    Burgers and brats, craft vendors, local entertainment and Buckeye Style Sangria for just $10 a glass.
    9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
