BUCKEYE, AZ (January 15, 2025): Just after 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, Buckeye police received calls of a crash on Rainbow Rd near Sundance Pkwy involving a small school bus and a pickup truck. First responders evaluated eight students, the bus driver, and the driver and passenger of the pickup truck for injuries. Three students and the bus driver were transported to the hospital as a precaution.

The students came from the Learning Center. A reunification site was established there so parents could pick up their children.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
