BUCKEYE, AZ (February 20, 2025): A noise complaint last Friday led to a significant meth seizure.
Just before 7:30 p.m. on February 14, 2025, Buckeye police were called to investigate people playing loud music at a home near Maricopa and Pima Rds. Arriving officers found a jeep and a truck parked on the property and a man and woman standing outside. Police knew the home was condemned so they started asking why the couple was there. The woman, who had no ties to the home, was being arrested for trespassing when officers found nearly 230 grams of meth and a handgun in her jeep. She was arrested on drug and weapons charges. The man was cited for driving the truck without a license, registration and insurance.
