Buckeye's acclaimed Catalyst Program is accepting applications August 1 and running through September 30, 2025. Eligible participants include all local businesses seeking grant funding to enhance their properties. Grant funds can be used to expand the business, rehabilitate existing condition, enhance the property's appeal or improve exterior features.

The total budget for this round of the program is $245,000 with a maximum grant award of $50,000 per business parcel. Business owner’s financial contribution is required. Reimbursement is provided upon project completion and submission of required documentation.

Since the program launched, the city’s Catalyst Program resulted in:

• Funding 54 projects nearing one million dollars
• Combined investment of $2.7 million from the city and private sector
• 2:1 return on investment
