Buckeye’s Community Services Department is proud to announce the Grand Opening of the Joe Foss Shooting Complex, taking place at 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

The community is invited to celebrate this exciting milestone with a ribbon cutting ceremony, food trucks, giveaways and more as the city officially reopens this popular outdoor recreational facility to the public.

Following the grand opening, the range will be open to the public Friday through Sunday, 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., offering residents and visitors a secure and well-maintained space for target shooting in the heart of Buckeye’s desert landscape.

Since its opening to the public in 2009, the Joe Foss Shooting Range had been operated by various non-profit organizations. As of January 2025, Buckeye assumed management, undertaking significant improvements to the shooting complex and expanding its operational staff.
