Buckeye to launch appointment-based bulk trash collection service

Post Date:08/18/2025 10:22 a.m.

Buckeye's Bulk Trash CollectionAll active Buckeye trash account holders will get up to four bulk trash pickups per year. The process is simple: you'll submit a request online, and your bulk trash will be collected on your next regular trash day.

To ensure your items are collected, please follow these guidelines:

  • Size: Keep your bulk pile no larger than six feet long, six feet wide, and six feet high.
  • Yard Waste: Cut tree limbs to three feet and stack and tie them. Thorny brush and cacti must be boxed. Uncut or unstacked vegetation will not be picked up.
  • Small Items: All small items and glass must be bagged or boxed.
  • Placement: Place your items at the front of your property, next to the sidewalk, not in the street. If you have alley pickup, place items at the alley endcap.
  • Scheduling: Requests must be submitted at least two business days in advance of your regular trash day. If you submit a request one business day or less before your scheduled trash day, the pickup will occur the following week.

The new online scheduling form will be available on the city's website in early September. Residents are encouraged to visit buckeyeaz.gov/bulk for more details, including a complete list of accepted and unaccepted items, and to schedule their bulk trash pick-ups once active.
