BUCKEYE, AZ (December 13, 2025): Hundreds of kids will have a brand new toy to unwrap this holiday season thanks to Buckeye police and community partners.

This morning, Buckeye police officers and cadets teamed up with nonprofit Buckeye Superheroes to distribute gifts and supplies to local families in need. It was all part of the annual A Christmas Cause event. In all, 600 kids were served in this single event with families taking home gifts, toys, books, blankets and food boxes. This signature event is made possible thanks to volunteers.

Buckeye Superheroes is a network of community organizations, school districts, businesses and churches. The nonprofit helps care for the less fortunate year-round with school supplies, food boxes and holiday giving. The idea behind its mission is that anyone can be a superhero through the spirit of giving and service to community.
