Buckeye has appointed Cathy Clemons as its new Program Management Office Director, recognizing a longtime public servant whose more than 20 years of experience have helped shape the city's development services, operations and customer service.
Clemons began her career with the City of Buckeye in August 2005 as an Administrative Support professional in Community Development. Throughout her tenure, she has served in a variety of leadership and operational roles, playing a key role in improving municipal operations and enhancing customer service.
She was instrumental in establishing Buckeye's Development Services Center in 2012, creating a more efficient, customer-focused approach to permitting and development services. Her leadership has consistently focused on streamlining processes, strengthening collaboration across departments and building scalable systems that support the city's rapid growth.
Clemons brings a unique combination of frontline operational experience, financial expertise and executive leadership. Her ability to align people, processes and resources has helped advance organizational goals while improving service delivery for residents, businesses and development partners.
