Buckeye canvasses Primary Election results

Looking south in Buckeye from city hallThe Buckeye City Council canvassed the July 21, 2026 Primary Election results at a Special Meeting Tuesday afternoon. Buckeye voters re-elected the City Councilmembers in District 4 and 6, and a new Councilmember in District 5.

In District 4, incumbent Patrick HagEstad ran against Pamela Croff and received 2,334 votes (55%), while Croff received 1,882 votes (45%).

In District 5, James Subjack ran unopposed and received 1,494 votes (99%).

In District 6, incumbent Clay Goodman ran unopposed and received 3,520 votes (99%).

The final results are posted on the Maricopa County Elections Department website.

The Councilmember positions in Districts 4, 5 and 6 each carry a four-year term, expiring in December of 2030. The winners will begin their new terms the first Council meeting in December of 2026 after receiving the official oath of office.
