Current Buckeye Projects

Buckeye is committed to making our city a better place to live, work and play. We're actively working to upgrade our roadways, facilities and parks to better serve our community. These efforts are detailed out below with a list of our Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) currently under construction. In addition to our current CIP, we're also making progress on projects funded by our voter-approved bonds. To learn more about these efforts to improve our community, visit our bond webpage.

If you wish to comment or have any questions on any project, please fill out our CIP Project Questions and Comments Form.

Verrado Way: Yuma to Van Buren

The Verrado/Yuma intersection is about to get a major update, and it requires the intersection to be closed for an extended period of time.

The intersection will be closed starting May 26 and will be closed for several months. Completing the work under a full closure will accelerate the overall timeline by nearly a year and save millions of dollars compared with phased construction.
