The city of Buckeye will begin accepting applications for the 2019-2020 Non-Profit Community Funding Program on July 1, 2019.  These grants are available to non-profit agencies who provide services specifically to Buckeye residents, and impact them directly. 

Applications received will undergo a technical review for completeness and accuracy and are selected based on the level of services the non-profit agency provides to Buckeye residents, while addressing essential community needs.  Following the initial review, a sub-committee will review each application and make recommendations based on criteria including:

  • The direct impact to Buckeye residents.
  • The demand and service needs of the organization and community.
  • If past recipient, impact and effectiveness of previously received funds and compliance with reporting requirements.

The Non-Profit Community Funding Program seeks to fund programs that fall within the following priority categories which includes:

  • Families in Crisis
  • Mental health and substance abuse, prevention and early intervention
  • Seniors programs
  • Homeless assistance
  • Special needs support
  • Youth programs

Complete applications can be submitted until 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 1,, 2019 by email, mail or in person to:
