The city of Buckeye will begin accepting applications for the Non-Profit Community Funding Program on June 16, 2025. These grants are available to non-profit agencies who provide services specifically to Buckeye residents, and impact them directly.
Applications received will undergo a technical review for completeness and accuracy and are selected based on the level of services the non-profit agency provides to Buckeye residents, while addressing essential community needs. Following the initial review, a sub-committee will review each application and make recommendations based on criteria including:
- The direct impact to Buckeye residents
- The demand and service needs of the organization and community
- If past recipient, impact and effectiveness of previously received funds and compliance with reporting requirements
The Non-Profit Community Funding Program seeks to fund programs that fall within the following priority categories which includes:
Families in crisis
- Mental health and substance abuse, prevention and early intervention
- Low/moderate income individuals and families
- Senior programs
- Homeless assistance
- Special needs support
- Youth programs
