Our Summer Youth Programs provide daily activities for children like arts and crafts, games, sports, guest speakers, cooking projects, STEM activities and much more. Have your child experience something new while making new friendships this summer. Our staff is ready to give the participants a summer they won’t forget!

Summer Rec

This fun, quality and affordable summer program is offered at select Buckeye schools. Participants will be placed in age appropriate groups for activities (first to eighth grade). Each week campers will have the opportunity to explore different field trips or stay onsite to enjoy activities. 

Dates: June 1 - July 17
Days: Monday - Friday
Times: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

June: $70 residents (includes one field trip shirt, field trip registration fees are separate)

Summer Lil' Squirts 

Lil' Squirts Preschool emphasizes learning through play. Incorporating a variety of seasonal themes we help kids develop those important social, group and independent skills. Lil' Squirts is a licensed program and accepts DES funding. Lunch is provided daily and weekly field trip opportunities are available. Ages three to five and all kids must be potty trained.

Times: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Ages: Three to five years old (must be fully toilet trained prior to first day of class)
Fees:

• $25 one-time non-refundable registration fee per child
• $55 per week (auto billing and on-line payment options available)

Lil' Squirts Summer Field Trips

Licensed All-Day Summer Camp 

Give your kids a summer they will never forget! This all day summer camp offers a variety of fun-filled activities that will keep your children on their toes. Campers will participate in an array of sports, arts and crafts, games and special events. Campers also get to explore exciting activities off-site during our unique and varied field trips each week. Most field trips are included in the weekly fee. This is a licensed program and accepts DES funding.

Dates: May 26- July 17
Days: Monday - Friday
Times: 6 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Ages: K through 8th grades
Locations: Bales Elementary (25400 W. Maricopa Rd.) and Sundance Elementary (23800 W. Hadley Rd.)
Fees:

• $25 registration fee plus first week's attendance is due at time of registration
• $100 weekly or $25 per day
• $90 weekly or $20 per day (multiple child discount)
