Planet Fitness Home Work-Ins
Our Fitness in the Park sponsor, Planet Fitness, is bringing the Judgement Free Zone to the living room! Through the United We Move program, members and nonmembers can tune into Facebook live streams on the Planet Fitness page for free at home workouts daily at 4 p.m. Arizona time. The virtual classes will be 20 minutes or less and won’t require any equipment. The home workouts offer tools to combat stress while providing motivation and inspiration sure to keep us all physically and mentally fit.Each week will feature special guests leading the workouts, from notable fitness trainers to celebrity guests. For anyone who can’t participate live, each workout will also be available to view on both the Planet Fitness Facebook page and YouTube channel after the broadcast is over.
Keep the kids active and entertained while your family is staying home by joining a Steppin’ Out Performing Arts Studio instructor for a virtual dance class.
You can choose online classes in jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop and more. There is a variety of dance class options available for kids from ages 2 to 14. No experience is necessary.
Classes are held on Thursdays from 3 to 3:30 p.m. and run for four weeks, beginning April 30, 2020.
