The FBI requires crime reporting using the National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS). This system captures details on an incident including information on separate offenses within the same incident, victims, known offenders, relationships between victims and offenders, arrestees and property involved in crimes.

ALPR Transparency Page

Buckeye police utilize Automated License Plate Readers (ALPRs) throughout our city to capture objective evidence without compromising individual privacy. The technology is used to develop investigative leads and help locate missing and vulnerable people, wanted persons and stolen vehicles. This transparency page provides additional information on the police department's use of ALPRs.
