The Buckeye Police Department is offering a basic knowledge of various situations that life exposes our children to daily and the warning signs of criminal or risky adolescent behavior.
- 18 years of age at the time of the Academy
- No felony arrests
- No sex offenders
- Background checks are conducted on each candidate
- 100% attendance required for a certificate (no make-ups)
When is the Guardian Academy offered? The Guardian Academy is offered in the Fall and Spring.
Fall 2019 Dates: Tuesday evenings September 10, 17, 24, and October 1, 2019. The Academy registration will open ONE month prior to the start date. Registration deadline is September 4, 2019.
Spring 2020 Dates: To be determined.
Fee: FREE. All that’s required is your commitment to our children.
Class Hours: 6 PM – 8:30 PM (for four nights). Please arrive 15 minutes prior to sign-in and be seated as we start promptly.
Location: Buckeye Public Library – Coyote Branch – 21699 W Yuma Rd #116, Buckeye
NOTE: The Buckeye Police Department will provide light refreshments each night and a meal on the last evening.
