Same-Day Service

Your requests have been heard and same-day service is now available Buckeye. Trash and recycling will be collected on the same day of the week. Find your new service day and see a detailed map of the new service areas.

Residential Curbside Trash Services

If you are a new resident and need service, please fill out a Start Service Application.

Buckeye residents receive residential curbside service one time per week. Extra containers are available for an additional monthly fee of $14.68 each.

Pick-up days are determined by your service area. To determine your service area, refer to the Curbside Trash and Recycle Collection Schedule.

Trash Cart Service Requirements

Every residence within Buckeye's city limits must have a solid waste account to receive weekly service.

  • Place your containers on the street (not on the sidewalk) the night before your collection day
  • Containers should be three feet apart, in front of your house, wheels adjacent to the curb (Verrado alley residents, except for those on dead end alleys, may place carts next to their driveway)
  • If you do not have a sidewalk in front of your home, place the cart within two feet of the pavement or roadway
  • Container should be more than five feet away from any fixed object (poles, mailboxes, etc.) and should not interfere with traffic
  • In-ground cans:
    • In-ground service includes city authorized staff pulling and returning the trash and recycle cans
    • Residents own and maintain the containers and all associated structures

Extra Trash?

  • Do not place bags on the ground or overfill your trash cart. We have a landfill available for a reduced rate for Buckeye residents. Please bring your current service bill to obtain this rate.
  • Additional trash carts are available. Call customer service at 623-349-6100 to request an extra trash cart for an additional monthly fee (not available in the Sun City Festival community).

Remember

  • Place city provided trash containers at your curb the night before your collection day
  • Do not place bags of trash on the ground
  • Always keep your trash and recycle lid closed
  • Keep your trash and recycle carts three feet apart for pickup
  • Bulk items that are too large for your trash or recycle container should be placed out on bulky trash collection day, or may be taken to the Southwest Regional Landfill.
